Designed as part of a whole-house renovation, Beau’s room began as a blank canvas. The goal was to create a space that would grow with him—functional for now but adaptable for years to come, even if the room’s purpose changed.
The brief was to keep it traditional and smart with a playful, child-friendly twist. As this wouldn’t be his main playroom, it needed to house plenty of books and soft toys while maintaining a timeless feel. Classic primary colours, dark wood accents, and woven grass wallpaper were chosen to fit the brief, while subtle accessories and artwork reflected Beau’s love of cars and planes.
To keep everything tidy and cohesive, we designed a bespoke toy box to match the wall shelving and book storage—all within easy reach for our little client. A space designed to evolve, balancing practicality with style.
